I began the practice of yoga asana in 1998 because I was looking for a physically demanding form of exercise. Soon after I took up the practice I began to appreciate its much subtler and profound aspects.
Certified ashtanga teacher Dominic Corigliano first introduced me to the ashtanga vinyasa system, and for the last 6 years I’ve practiced daily with my principal teacher Tim Miller, the first teacher certified to teach by Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois.
I completed Tim Miller’s Adjustment Intensive in 2003, and I’ve spent more than 8 months in Mysore, India, practicing with ashtanga yoga master Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath.
